Day 3 since POS (planting of succulents).

Today I came home to wilted leaves.😔😔 Some of them fell off. I pulled out the others (because I felt like it, and I'm thinking it's additional baggage for the succulents).


My mother and I didnt water them after planting, except for the "dying one" because we were afraid of overwatering. I now realize we should have watered them yesterday.

This is the "dying one". It arrived looking worse so we didn't have high hopes for it.

I bought this so I can water them without getting the leaves wet (P25 from Unitop):

My succulents might also be getting too much sun. We placed them on the west side of our house and they get direct sunlight from 1pm to close to 5pm.

My poor, poor succulents were dying of thirst while roasting in the sun. 😢😭

My mother and I just finished watering them. It took us a long while since we wanted to drench the soil completely (compensating for starving them for 2 days), and the bottle is small. It's also quite tedious making sure we don't water the leaves, or hit the neighboring succulents when they're crowded on one table.

We're moving them to the south side of the house tomorrow (if I don't wake up early, my mother will do the moving while I'm at work).

We're thinking of adding some shade over them in a few days, maybe this weekend. And possibly also build a stair-type shelf so we can see all the cuteness at once.

I hope they all get better tomorrow. 🙂☺
